Dirty Little Secret

Now all I have to do is finish the editing! Here's your beautiful cover!

The last chapter turned out to be quite a doozy! I might actually decide to split it up even further during my editing tomorrow. But this whole thing turned out to be massive , coming in at well over 30,000 words. Not bad for 5 days! Today alone came in at just under 8000 words. Anyway, tomorrow is for editing and creating a cover image, and we're on schedule for it to be published to Patreon supporters by the end of the day tomorrow. Of course, if any impatient supporters want to read the first draft, they can find it in my In Progress folder.

It turns out, I did get more progress done today -- and some really good progress! The new plan is that the story will have 6 chapters instead of 5. I'm splitting Chapter 5 into two. And the good news is that I just finished the rough draft of Chapter 5. Still one more to go for tomorrow, but it won't be quite as massive as it might have otherwise been.

Big old chunk of progress today! That's the entirety of Chapter 4 done -- only one more to go! And with that, I've met my goal for today, but there's some chance that I might take some time before bed to get a head start on Chapter 5.

We're at the beginning of chapter 4 now. Only this chapter and one more to go! I'm going to aim for getting chapter 4 done by the end of today and chapter 5 done by the end of tomorrow, leaving the 31st for editing and making the cover image.

I pushed a whole bunch of buttons on my keyboard, and now I'm almost at the end of Chapter 3!

Really shooting along through this fic, even though I'm only in the middle of Chapter 3 now. I'm ready to hammer this one out!

Coming in for the home stretch of Chapter 2 now. It's going to be a long haul, but if I keep making this kind of progress, I'll finish in time ... probably.

Into the middle of Chapter 2 now ... and this thing is getting big . I'll try to get some more progress done before the end of today -- I'm really hoping to get the whole thing done by the end of the month. We'll see.

This is going to be a huge story, and I've only got 670 words of it done ... but things are starting now. I'll probably get a good deal more progress done on it before the end of the day today, and I still intend to finish the entire thing by the end of the month.
