Dirty Little Secret

Went through all the editing today and even whipped up a halfway decent cover image. The story is already available early and free to my Patreon supporters . For everyone else, keep an eye on this blog. It may be a while, but it will show up for sale sooner or later.

I was just going to make a little more progress today ... but once things really got started, I just couldn't force myself to call it a day and work on something else. Old Nag is a completed first draft now, coming in at just over 15000 words. (Apparently, I've lost the ability to write short stories now, and even things that should be quite simple end up spreading into something almost approaching novella territory.) Patreon supporters can already read what's there now, if they want to check my in-progress folder. Otherwise, I'll probably end up proofreading it and making the cover tomorrow and posting a full Early & Free post for them. Everyone else will have to wait -- at least a couple weeks probably -- before it goes on sale publicly.

Over 10,000 words now, and we've finally got a kiss! I'd meant to keep this kind of short, but it just keeps wanting to go in-depth. I've just got to roll with it. But it will be done within the next few days, come procrastination or high water.

Making some significant progress, and we're getting close , but still no sex scene yet. *le sigh* We'll get there soon, though. It will be no time at all.

Not quite progressed to the point in the story where I meant to be by now -- the sex scene hasn't started yet: we're still in the flirting and light touches, though things are about to take a decidedly sexual turn. Still, 6900 is a very important milestone. Imagine something really fun ... then multiplied by a hundred!

Yeah, it's not much. I know. But I had a bunch of real-life stuff to do today, and you can't rush a piece of art like this story. Don't worry, though. I'll be sure to get it done by the end of the month. And I plan to do a good bit of it tomorrow. My goal is to at least make it to the beginning of the sex scene by tomorrow night.

Sometimes progress comes slowly, though... I think this story is worth it, but I do have other projects I have to get to.

I don't often get this much done on the first day of writing a story -- I've spent almost three hours straight, just on this. Even as the author, I have a hard time putting it down! These characters -- especially the main character, Janet -- are winning my heart over, and I'm only reluctantly pulling myself away from the keyboard because it's almost 2am. But this story is going to be a real treat, even though the raunchy sex parts probably won't even be that big of a portion of the story. After all, it's up to 3200 words now, and we only have the barest hint of anything sexual so far. But it's already so much more than the prompt! I have to give a huge thanks to the unknown Patreon supporter who voted this story in for the month. (And speaking of Patreon supporters, they can already read what I've got so far!)

And it's beautiful! A little tweaking here and there, and it will fit perfectly!

Old Nag has a plan now ... and sort of an outline. You see, this is turning out to be kind of a special story. It's going to have some feels in it, and the characters are already coming through so strongly. I feel like I know them already. That's why I made only a bare-bones outline -- I want the characters to have their own will and determine how the story plays out. My Patreon supporters can already read the planning/outline sheet, and they'll be able to see that the character details are actually longer than the plot outline for once! (And I think that they'll also fall in love with the characters, even at this early stage.) This one really is going to be something special, not only with the strong, lovable and relatable characters ... but there will also be a repeat character from one of my other stories! I've chosen to do the Photography Is Hard Work story idea next, until this month's poll has a winner. This story's prompt: "A raccoon boy sneaks his way into the girl's shower at the college pool, meaning to snap some dirty pictures. But three young girls catch him in the act, and one of them has some interesting ideas about how he can make it up to all of them for violating their privacy." I've also been scouring the internet for possible cover images. The text is complete now, but I haven't made a cover yet. I'm kind of dissatisfied with the cover options I have now, so I think I'm probably going to commission one. My Patreon supporters will get the text-only version of it, though, so they can read it while I try to find a cover.

The first draft is finished! I'll probably get some editing done on it tomorrow, and then it will be ready to post Early & Free to Patreon supporters. The word count is just over 11,000 words.

Suddenly I Have Tits is over 8000 words now ... and it's finally getting into the really juicy stuff. I figure it will probably be finished in a few more days.
